This undergraduate project was an editorial design challenge, replicating the aesthetic of London-based design publication, Eye Magazine.
The final deliverables for this project was a developed cover design and editorial layouts in the style of Eye, including back cover credits, bar coding, and logo placement. No layout measurements were provided, but the text was a segment from States of Wonder by Nancy Spector, deputy director and chief curator at the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum at the time.
For this design, I not only included original photography, I also scanned in old books as an added design element; a playful allegory of a book within a book.
